Frankie's Ristorante

Named as a tribute to:
Frank van Veghel III ~ June 24, 1970 - March 1, 2008

Frank was born with Celiac disease, a disorder that prevents the digestion of gluten and foods that contain it (mainly wheat products).

As it is almost impossible for people with Celiac disease to eat out in restaurants, we have dedicated the entire menu at Frankie's as a safe-haven for them.

Along with our regular Mediterranean menu, patrons will find both Celiac-friendly food and a peanut- and nut-free environment, as well as vegetarian, vegan and some sugar-free pastries for our diabetic patrons every day.

Frankie's is proud to be a member of the Canadian Celiac Association.

Frankie's has been featured across Southern Ontario, Durham region and the Greater Toronto Area as well as across the entire continental USA.
