Frankly speaking... Easter, Passover and Earth day all land around the same time and Frankie's has it all, just for you! Just a gentle reminder that both Frankie's ristorante and Baked at Frankie's will be closed Friday April 18th.
April 19 marks the day for all of us to celebrate and give back to the Earth. Did you know that Frankie's ristorante is the first restaurant in Ontario to reach the highest standard in environmentally accountability in the food service industry - Level 3 LEAF. And Baked at Frankie's is a LEAF certified bakery. We're excited to announce this great accomplishment before Earth Day and we encourage all to try and do their part. This high standard of certification tells you, the consumer that we are conscience of all aspects of environmental impact related to how and where we get the food we serve you (from local farms, Ontario, Canada and beyond), what types and how much energy we consume to make this food, what kind of environment you dine in (linens, ceiling fans...) and what we do with the food when you're done with it and how we dispose of it. LEAF also covers if we have gardens/planters to grow some of the foods we serve at the restaurant and many, many more aspects.
We're proud of this new standard that we are being acknowledged for and not only encourage you the consumer to do your part, but also our fellow restaurants and bakeries to help in making the Earth a better place to live for our children and children's children.
Lemon Raspberry bars, chocolate butter tarts, Profiteroles, special muffins - frosted and non frosted, cupcakes and of course, hot cross buns! Order today for Saturday pickup.
Ready to use: PAR-BAKED PIZZA CRUSTS NOW AVAILABLE at the bakery!!!
Check out the walls at the restaurant!
Lisa Antilla has some beautiful artwork on the walls of Frankie's. You must come in and take a gander. There's certainly something for everyone. Sailboats, abstracts, realism... the list goes on and on. Check out our walls.
