Gluten Free Cannoli Recipe
250g Frankie's All Purpose Flour
1 tsp cinnamon
50g white sugar
50g softened butter
30-50ml red wine or marsala
extra flour for rolling.
egg wash for sticking the pastry together.
Pre-heat oil to 350-375F.
In a mixer combine egg, sugar and butter. Next add flour and cinnamon and mix until combined. Add half of the red wine and mix. If additional wine is needed add until the dough forms a ball.
On a well floured surface roll out pastry to thin pie pastry thickness. Cut out circles and roll onto cannoli tubes. Deep fry until golden brown. Repeat with remaining dough.
